A documentary photographer exploring people, places and perspectives.
About Between Horizons Studio
Between Horizons Studio is an independent creative platform for documentary photography, visual storytelling and books exploring people, places and perspectives across different horizons.
The studio grew out of three years of living and working in Afghanistan’s Central Highlands, between 2022 and 2025. During this time, I travelled through Bamyan, Band-e Amir, Ghor and Daikundi, documenting landscapes, cultural heritage and the everyday lives of the people who call this remarkable region home.
My photography is shaped by a curiosity about places and the stories they hold. I am drawn to contrasts: ancient landscapes and changing communities, moments of stillness and the resilience required by daily life. Beyond the familiar images of Afghanistan, I hope to share a more personal view of a region whose beauty, complexity and people deserve to be seen and remembered.
Between Horizons: Life in Afghanistan’s Central Highlands is the studio’s first book — a photographic journey through the landscapes, seasons and human experiences encountered along the way.
Between Horizons Studio will continue to develop books and photographic projects that connect places, people and perspectives, inviting viewers to look beyond the familiar and discover what lies between horizons.
